HOW WE DO IT
Learn From The Best
Squadron 7Zulu drills (meets) on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at the the USS Salem or the Navy Operational Support Center in Quincy, Massachusetts. Cadets learn hand-on / minds-on, professional-grade skills from instructors, veterans, and active and reserve duty military personnel, who are experts in their fields. Often times, our unit is requested to - and participates in - special events, such as parades, Red Sox games and military or volunteering events across the Massachusetts area. Additionally, we partake in unique field trips encompassing team building skills and military knowledge across all of our military branches. Learn, Lead, & Excel! The cornerstone of Sea Cadets is our Summer & Winter trainings! Each Cadet must attend at least one of our nationwide training once per calendar year. Occasionally, additional training may be offered during the spring time (Spring break). These trainings are held all over the country; some are close by, while other are as far as away as Guam! Our International Exchange Program also affords Cadets the opportunity to travel to other countries and experience the cultures they encounter with Cadets in similar youth programs there. There are over 105 different training opportunities our Cadets have to choose from! Below is only a sample of the different courses and topics:
